Some stays stay with you long after you leave. Not because of the design alone. Not because of the amenities. But because they arrive at the right moment in your life.
Sojourn exists to interpret the ideas, values, and philosophies shaping the future of travel and hospitality.
This series highlights a small number of places each year that embody that shift: Boutique hotels, retreats, and culturally rooted stays where design, sustainability, and intention are not features, they are the foundation.
I’m not cataloging properties. I’m examining points of view. The vision behind a place. The values it protects.
If you’ve built or operate a place that embodies this philosophy, you may propose a place it for editorial consideration.
HOW IT WORKS
I’m curating a small selection of places in an ongoing editorial series exploring how design, values, and atmosphere shape the way we experience a stay.
To start, I’ll be selecting 25 places, just enough to give each story the time and attention it deserves.
For now, selected stories will be published on Tuesdays on LinkedIn, where these conversations first took shape.
This series is editorial and curated. Not every submission will be featured, but every one will be reviewed with care.
